Account Verification
Follow the instructions below to submit supporting documents for your organization.
- Gather the required documents, scanned or clearly photographed.
- Accepted file formats: PDF, JPG, or PNG.
- Each file must not exceed 2 megabytes.
- Each document must have its own separate file.
You can submit files through two channels:
- By email to kyc@papi.mg with the subject line:
Supporting Documents Papi – [Your Organization Name] – [Your Organization Type]. - By WhatsApp at +261 32 11 646 67 (contact: Ibonia).
Files may be attached directly to the message (email or WhatsApp), or sent via a download link (e.g., WeTransfer or equivalent service).
You will receive a Papi acknowledgement of receipt once your documents have been registered by our team. The team may follow up with you if a file is unreadable or missing.
While your organization is under review, you will see the status "Organization pending verification" displayed on the Papi platform. You will be able to collect payments during this period, but may be subject to volume and transaction count limits.
After a successful verification, your organization's status will change to "Verified organization". It may also happen that, following a change in regulations or Papi's screening policy, your organization is returned to "Organization to re-verify" status — in which case Papi will invite you to complete your information again.
